A table is preferable, but we will have a clipboard if needed to do the transaction.
The Notary will check your ID and look over the documents for completeness.
The Notary will talk to the signer(s) to verify that they are of sound mind and willing.
The signer(s) will sign and date the document and then sign the Official Journal of the Notary and get their thumbprint.
If a witness is needed, they will also sign and date the document.
The Notary will complete the notary certificate and put their stamp on it.
Payment is taken once all is complete.
This will take about 10 minutes for one signature.
Each additional signature or document will add about five minutes.
Proper ID
Forms of acceptable ID's: Driver's license (if expired it must have been issued within 5 years), CA state ID card, US passport, Mexican or Canadian passport card
The following ID's must include a physical description, signature, photograph, and serial number - State ID other than CA, Voter ID card from another state, foreign passport or consulate card, Canadian or Mexican driver's license, Military ID cards, CA state or city employee card, Tribal ID
No ID? No problem. If you do not have access to a proper ID, two credible witnesses whom you know personally can be used to verify your identity. Both witnesses will need to provide a proper form of ID.
